Covid suspends biodiversity projects in Central Vietnam

Description

Over the last two years, Covid restrictions have negatively influenced biodiversity conservation projects and forest protection in Central Vietnam. More specifically, the Covid-19 prevention measures have hindered the field investigation and studies at national parks and reserves, awareness-raising programs on wildlife protection for ethnic groups and local people living in buffer zones, and possibly increased logging activities and illegal hunting.
