Development of sustainable fishery also ensures biodiversity preservation and aquatic resources restoration


That is one of the major contents of the draft national plan on protecting and exploiting aquatic resources for 2021 – 2030 and vision 2050 under the preparation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). More specifically, Vietnam will restructure the fishery industry by applying more suitable production models, improving product quality, and good practices for environmental protection and climate change adaptation. Promoting these activities is also to meet the international requirements for the sector.
