Description

In an effort to promote renewable energy and confront climate change, Germany’s Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (tkIS) and Thyssenkrupp nuclear AG & Co. KGaA signed an agreement with Vietnam’s The Green Solutions (TGS) Group to produce green hydrogen and ammonia in Vietnam from 2022 to 2050. Accordingly, Thyssenkrupp and TGS aim to produce yearly 216,000 tons of green ammonia and 36,000 tons of green hydrogen. The signing ceremony took place in Berlin on 29th March within the framework of the eighth Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue from 29th – to 30th March. This agreement is expected to be the first prospect step, which enables Vietnam to become a leading nation in Asia to export green fuels like hydrogen and ammonia.
