Mekong Delta’s climate change adaptation assisted by German Agency


The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) has recently investigated infrastructure investment needs in 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta and assessed the current status of sustainable urban development. In this sense, it finds out the gaps between planning and implementation in urban areas; limiting investment efficiency in areas such as riverbank erosion, water drainage, and urban flood control.
