HCMC will spend 347.83 million USD or over 8 trillion VNĐ to construct 11 anti-projects and one environmental sanitation project. More specifically, the city will allocate the majority of that budget, with 307 million USD, for the project of Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè wastewater treatment, which is the most significant component of the environmental sanitation project. The anti-flooding projects are expected to address the longstanding flooding issue of the southern city.
