The Green Fuels in cooperation with the School of Chemical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science Technology (HUST) received a research grant from the UK’s innovation agency, under Energy Catalyst to study the conversion of catfish mortalities and processing waste into sustainable power. More specifically, the project will create a process and facility to transform fishery waste to diesel generator fuel and subsequently supply secure energy to fish farms. This energy source is considered sustainable, low cost, and net-zero carbon. It is expected that the project will contribute a positive impact on the decarbonization of power generation in the region.
