Open burning of waste poses critical issues on human health, environment, and climate. However, it is considered a local issue and receives not sufficient attention. The webinar “Health and Climate Imperatives to Address Open Burning of Waste” discusses the root cause of open burning of waste and associated consequences. Subsequently, it aims to raise awareness at all levels to create a global movement to address the practice.
