Germany’s Aone Deutschland AG and Vietnam’s AquaOne has just signed an agreement in Leipzig, the German state of Saxony, to jointly build the Vàm Cỏ Đông River Surface Water Treatment Plant in Long An province. The plant is expected to supply clean water for the production and domestic use of residents. The first phase will be assumably completed in 2023 with a capacity of 200,000 m3 per day and night. The second phase is planned to finish by 2025 with a capacity of 300,000 m3. It can reach the overall capacity of 1.2 million m3 per day and night when the investment is complete.
