Republic of Korea supports Cát Tiên National Park in conserving forest ecosystems biodiversity


The Republic of Korea (RoK) provides US$ 1,232 million via Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) to implement the project “Conservation and development of forest ecosystems biodiversity resources at Cát Tiên National Park”. The MoU signing ceremony was taken place online on 8th July 2021 with the participation of AFoCO´s headquarter in RoK, Vietnam Administration of Forestry in Hà Nội, and Cát Tiên National Park in Đồng Nai. The project lasts from 2021 to 2025 aiming to improve the conservation and develop the biodiversity of forest ecosystems at Cát Tiên National Parks. In the meantime, it also improves community’s livelihood in the buffer zone.
