Description

The source of this funding is from state’s budget and six saltwater prevention sluices and relevant works will be constructed in the period 2021 – 2025 in districts of Châu Thành and Cai Lậy, according to the People’s Committee of Tiền Giang province. These works will be used to protect against saltwater intrusion, store freshwater for production and daily activities of 80,000 residents in provinces of Tiền Giang and Long An. They are one of the priority construction projects of Tiền Giang in adapting to climate change.
