Tiền Giang province, an area located in Mekong Delta seriously impacted by salinity intrusion, has adopted new agricultural production models, which allow farmers earn reliable income to confront climate change challenges in the eastern districts and Gò Công town. More specifically, farmers can grow rice in the rainy season and breed shrimp in the dry season in the same field or grow vegetables, dragon fruit, and other crops as alternatives for growing rice.
