The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) in cooperation with relevant agencies has released the 6th National Report on biodiversity conservation in Vietnam from 2014 to 2018. More specifically, the report provides information on activities and initiatives at various levels of public authorities, non-governmental organizations, communities, private sectors. Additionally, it also presents good progress in reporting, especially in developing and disseminating laws and policies on biodiversity, increasing the cover rate of forests, and developing conservation areas. By contrast, there are some limitations in the sense that some goals have not been achieved and thus it needs more effort and action against the challenges of biodiversity conversation in Vietnam.
