The increase in natural disaster occurrence to the coastline of Vietnam has led to substantial human and economic losses, however, the ongoing measures of risk management are insufficient. It is therefore pressingly required a new resilience development. That is the statement in the “Resilient Shores” report, jointly developed by the Government of Vietnam, the World Bank, and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery.
