Description

Viwat Mekong, a new Vietnamese-German research project dealing with measures for the development of the Mekong Delta, is approved.

With the support of the two ministries, BMBF and MoST, scientists and engineers from both countries will work on the questions concerning water, erosion and the development of the Mekong Delta.
The project will also develop adapted technologies and measures to protect groundwater resources and the coast.

The project is the R&D phase of the ViWat Mekong GO project (2017-2018).
