Vietnam Sustainability Forum (VSF-2019), “Fostering Economic Growth and Inclusive Society for Sustainable Development”, which will be held in Hanoi (Vietnam) on 17-18 January 2019.
The VSF aims at providing an international exchange platform for global leaders and stakeholders (policymakers, academics, businesses, entrepreneurs, and NGOs) to present and discuss worldwide initiatives, practices and visionary trends about sustainability. The ultimate goal is to achieve the long-lasting development of an inclusive and equitable society whereby prosperous growth goes together with sustainable environment.
Following the success of the first edition (20+ international distinguished speakers and policy leaders, 400+ attendees), the VSF-2019 will devote special workshops for discussing the pathways and the implementation of Vietnam’s sustainability policies as well as put emphasis on the exchange of experiences and the policy coordination at international level.
DAY 1 – ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM: A scientific symposium is organized on the first day with keynote lectures delivered by Professor Ted Loch-Temzelides (Rice Scholar in Energy Studies at the Baker Institute for Public Policy, and the Master of Martel College, Rice University, United States) and Professor Rick van der Ploeg (University of Oxford & Research Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies, United Kingdom). Researchers and academics are invited to submit their full papers for presentation at the symposium. High-quality papers will be published in special issues of international journals after passing the review process. We encourage submissions of research and policy-oriented papers on various topics related to sustainability.
